1600 Series - Standard Features
Green & Efficient:
- All homes will be Energy Star certified & rated, with a target score of “5 stars”.
- Energy efficiency estimated at 30%-40% above current code requirements.
- All structures will use “advanced framing techniques” to improve insulation values and performance of the home.
- Cellulose insulation to achieve R-15 & R-50 values at the walls and ceiling area, respectively. Urethane foams used at rim/band and other areas as required to minimize air infiltration.
- 92% efficiency furnace installed as standard.
- 3rd party energy rater will complete inspections and performance tests to ensure proper operation of systems and installations.
- All interior paint materials will be “Low VOC” or “No VOC” products
Exterior:
- 30 year dimensional roofing shingles
- Premium grade vinyl exterior sidings with painted wood trims.
- Premium vinyl windows with low-e & argon. Energy Star certified units.
- Decorative or recess fixtures fitted with CFL bulbs.
Interior:
- Main level of all homes will be 3” wide, solid, bamboo flooring
- First floor ceiling heights to be 9'.
- All bathroom & laundry flooring will be Italian porcelain tile
- Shower & tub/shower walls will be tile. Fiberglass bases at shower & tub.
- Bedrooms, closets and stairs will be carpet.
- Interior shelving in bedrooms to be painted wood systems
- Quality, maple cabinets in all kitchen and bath areas.
- Laminate tops at kitchen, cultured marble tops in bathrooms
Optional Features:
- NAHB or LEED “green designations” can be provided, at additional expense.
- Granite counters may be installed in kitchens and/or bathrooms. Cost of option is dependent on the plan selected.
- Upgraded flooring available for all plans.
- Exterior siding can be upgraded to cementious siding. Cost is dependent on plan.
- Two car detached garage may be added to (standard) rear parking pad
- Basement Options are available to provide additional living space for each of the floor plans.

- If you qualify for assistance, the price will be lower.
- Dwell Smart homes, while slightly higher than other new homes in this market, have a payback factor due to our energy saving construction packages. You should experience a minimum savings of $125 per month, which, over time, actually makes our homes less expensive than the others - not to mention that the quality of our materials and the sleek design will produce better resale value.
